Resilience Birthright Incorporated was created to raise awareness, empower and inspire community action, locally and globally, and facilitate implementation of programs and multi-media projects to help solve climate change, the trashing of the planet and to support planet restoration and uplifting the collective consciousness of the planet.

Board of Directors

Jessica Robinson
Jessica Jane Robinson, CEO and Founder of Resilience Birthright, Inc

Jessica Jane Robinson has a BA degree in Performing Arts and Social Justice, minor in dance from the University of San Francisco. Jessica participated as Miss Alameda for the 2010 and 2011 Miss California USA pageant; with the platform of reducing landfill and greenhouse gas emissions and promoting clean technology and energy. As Miss Alameda, Jessica has sought to encourage behavior changes among the public by promoting Alameda's recycling and composting program in local schools and businesses. She is one of the founders of Miss Alameda Says Compost (MASC), recruiting restaurants in Alameda to recycle and compost. She has helped the City of Alameda reach 75% diversion in 2012, by the success of her program and outreach. She has also served on the Board of the Northern California Recycling Association as Treasurer since 2013.
Ruth Abbe
Ruth Abbe, Zero Waste USA

Ruth Abbe is the president of Zero Waste USA, the U.S. national affiliate of the Zero Waste International Alliance. The mission of Zero Waste USA is to inspire communities to embrace and achieve Zero Waste. She is a Zero Waste practitioner with more than 25 years of experience in recycling and composting program and facility development. As the principal of Abbe & Associates LLC, she is working with municipalities across the U.S. to develop the social and physical infrastructure to achieve Zero Waste. In her home city of Alameda, California she is a grassroots leader with Community Action for a Sustainable Alameda (CASA). CASA has developed an award-winning recycling and composting program for the Alameda schools (the Alameda Green Schools Challenge) and supports Jessica Robinson with the “Miss Alameda Says, ‘Compost!’” program to help implement mandatory recycling and composting requirements at Alameda restaurants and multifamily buildings.
Ben Coleman
Ben Coleman

Ben Coleman is the owner and broker of Hartford Properties. He has been a broker since 2002 and has 26+ years of real estate experience and 35+ years of residential construction experience. He is a member of National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, Greater San Francisco Association of Realtors, and San Mateo County Association of Realtors. He has been awarded Century 21 Hall of Fame, inducted in 1994, Century 21 Centurion Award every year from 1989-2012, and Century 21 Double Centurion Award.

John Moore
John Moore is the Resilience Birthright, Inc Board Advisor.

John is a lawyer who has maintained a litigation practice for over 35 years with substantial trial experience. He provides advice and solves problems for recycling companies and businesses and individuals with complex problems.
